Neuter Mike Vick T-shirts — Am I Wrong???
Maybe it’s me…perhaps I’m the crazy one. But every since we put up this site, we’ve been receiving a bunch of emails from people who say we are wrong and that we shouldn’t have t-shirts out there like these. They’ve called us scum, pathetic, losers, etc…
But what about those poor dogs??? Does anyone care about those dogs who were tortured, drowned, shot, hanged and electrocuted? And now we’re the bad guys? I don’t understand, could someone explain that too me? We made these shirts so people could vent. I was so angry I just needed to do something and these t-shirts were the ideal thing that came to mind. We are in the blanket business, we initially had the t-shirts on our blanket web site but our lines were getting slammed with phone calls and we decided to create an independent site so people could stop clogging our emails with their mean emails and many phone calls.
Vick should of thought about that before he let his cousin move in. He knew what kind of person his cousin was. His cousin didn’t just wake up one morning and decided to get into the dog fighting business, he’s been doing this all alone and when you let someone move into your house that you don’t even reside at, then you’re responsible for whatever behavior takes place their…and when it’s all said and done, he knew what type of person his cousin was — it was no surprise!
I stand behind our shirts and they will continue to sell, and if that makes me the bad guy…then so be it!

Why did he do this? In my 30 years of counseling I have found that when large men do these kinds of things, I’ts called over compensating, it’s because of smallness in another area.

Richmond, VA. Vick is due in court in Richmond on Thursday for arraignment. Richmond police will close down these streets around the courthouse: 10th Street between Cary and Bank and Bank Street between 9th and 12th. They will be closed from 6 p.m. Wednesday through 6 p.m. Thursday. Come protest this putrid human!

No, you’re not wrong. I LOVE the shirts! It doesn’t surprise me that you’re receiving such emails, though. In the area of Vick’s house, as well as other places, most people just don’t give a darn about dogs. =(
I AM glad that this is making the front page - finally. People always blame the dogs, which is why we have BSL now… and the media doesn’t help. They sensationalize everything, especially the pits. But maybe, just maybe, people will start to put the blame where it rightfully belongs - with the ignorant, cruel humans who train them to fight.

Thank you so much for your exposure of this horrendous largely hidden industry. The miserable excuse for a human being is finally beginning to receive some approximation of what is deserved–exposure of this multitude of atrocities against the voiceless and innocent–and his canine concentration camp.
His victims had no choice–we do! I want to see this latter-day Mengele account for his crimes again the multitude of unfortunate victims of his hideous, degrading lifestyle–and his henchmen as well.
I hope Michael Dick and cohorts (no I did not misspell this accidently) is convicted and sentenced accordingly for his actions. Just one problem: there is no punishment that could ever fully punish him for his behavior–nothing–unless, possibly, being repeatedly assaulted every way from Wednesday once in the slammer. Perhaps then he will think of his “rape rack” his female pit bull was force to endure.

Here is another positive email regarding your website. Do not be worried about the neanderthals who condemn the site. They are ignorant of the problem or just heartless a**holes. Personally, I think there should be a death penalty for extreme animal cruelty cases such as this. People who are capable of doing these atrocious crimes should be taken out of the gene pool. I can only hope that there is a god and that this god is a dog!

I have emailed every company that I can think of and I can’t wait to get my new T-shirt. Of course Vick knew about the abuse. Just hope that greedy people don’t try to cover all this mess with money. This time, I am standing strong against crap like this. This state has just now outlawed cock-fighting, and still we have those of a lesser intelligence trying to keep it alive. READ 11 Peter Chapter 1 verses 5-8. If Vick were a Christian person, he would have love, and a person that has love, doesn’t hurt other living things.

I hope that someone does something very similar to Michael Vick that he and others did to those poor dogs. They are poor, defenseless animals. He’s an animal………just not poor and defenseless. Maybe he’d like to be hung, electrocuted, thrown to the ground……………..maybe ALL of the above.

THANK YOU for making the shirts. I have 4 dogs… two rescued greyhounds. I have emailed and called the NFL, Falcons and sponsors. The type of federal indictment against Vick results in conviction 97% of the time.
This great “role model” also flipped off the crowd last year and was pulled aside in an airport for having a water bottle with a secret compartment for his weed… uh, I mean “jewelry”.
An interesting thought– somewhere in the NFL is a linebacker who loves dogs and he hopes that Vick does NOT get suspended…. it is only a 15 yard penalty.

As the “grandmother” of a beautiful little female pit, and friend to many others, I am outraged and sickened everytime I hear, read, or see anything about dogfighting or breed specific legislation. I am constantly defending bully breeds and trying to change peoples minds. It is because of people like Micheal Vick that these breeds have such a bad reputation. The only good thing to come out of this is that Micheal Vick is a high profile person who happened to get caught. At least now there is some intense media coverage and public awareness. Sure, there are still some neandrethals out there that support the act of dog fighting. There are still many uneducated individuals out there who will still continue to blame the breed and not the deed. At least we have a spotlight to voice our position for once-even if it is just for a short time. I am ordering my shirt now.

You are not wrong… awareness needs to be raised about this in any way that can be done. Michael Vick is not the only person that commits these heinous crimes, they happen every day we just don’t hear about them all the time because they either don’t get caught, or they are not some ‘famous’ NFL star.

I wish that Michael Vick could be put through the exact same treatment that he has put these animals through, and see how he likes it.

As the proud owner of one of these wonderful dogs, I say keep up the good work. If there is a problem with the “breed” here, it is in the Vick genes. The American Pit Bull Terrier is the most loving and loyal dog you could ask for, all they want in life is to please their owner. Unfortunately, there are too many michael Vicks out there, with their thug mentalities, and disregard for life. Too much money, plus no morals or ethics creates situations like this, it is not the breed of dog, just the creeps who own them. I have ordered two shirts which I will proudly wear around my home town of Richmond, Va. Oh, and my Pitty, Otis thanks you also.

I am not for the cruelty of animals and what Vick did is wrong. But you guys are no more right by putting out t-shirts that say “Neutar Vick.” That is called a hyporcite and two wrongs do not make a right.
Maybe you should not look to profit off this incident. OR maybe you should concentrate on other efforts in the world, such as HUMANS! What about all those dieing, going hungry and other senseless acts of violence that do not get 1/100th of the attention this is getting?

Agree totally with Kenny Stanley’s comment. I was brought up with both English & Staffordshire Bull Terriers which are unfortunately the dogs of choice in the UK for dog-fighting. All of the ‘bull breeds’ are loyal and gentle when in the hands of a responsible owner.
The cretins who engage in this barbaric activity are merely cowards who hide behind the aggression and bravery of the poor dogs.
I love the T-shirts and the idea of the Vick jersey bonfire, it’s a shame we can’t throw the man himself on top of the bonfire and burn the whole pile of cr@p!

Faye…Michael Vick is in fact not innocent until proven guilty. That standard would be that he is “presumed” innocent. A big difference. First off…I’m not sure where his race comes into question. I am sickened by the footage being seen on TV, although I hope that people can see just how disgusting it really is. I own a pitbull and she is the BEST dog I could ever ask 4, no Better!! It makes me cry to think of what those poor dogs had to go threw. I do hope that justice will be served, and a message is sent to all the SICKO’S who participate in this horrible abuse!! I am a proud pit bull owner, though my family has 2 “mutts” as others have spoken of. We love every single one of them the same. It would not matter to me if Vick was purple, I would still believe that he is a disgusting human being. Why does the race card even need to be pulled?? And to reply to a few of Jerome’s points: Shooting to kill is wrong, however if you are going to eat and use all of the animal where is this wrong, it’s more humane than getting beef from a cattle farm. The deer have a chance to get away. And by the way, there are plenty of job oportunities out there for everyone, but you actually have to be a responsible human being and look for one. I myself do not have health insurance, though I manage just fine.
Staying on topic, it shouldn’t matter what kind of animal it is, VIck is wrong and deserves to be prosecuted. If you have all of that money why do you need to kill innocent dogs? And you can’t tell me he had no idea…..BS how ignorant can you be?? Thank you for taking a stand!!

I think everyone is crazy. There are many other people out here killing children in cruel and unusual ways, but they are swept under the rug. I think this whole thing is stupid, you talk one minute about control the population. The next your worried about how its done. Just shut up. There are many unwanted dogs,cats, birds etc…but of course this isnt the issue. The issue for most is oh my god a black man with money…how could he? Well as far as I can tell he hasn’t been convicted of anything…but by “white america’s” standards…he is guilty and should be killed. It’s funny there was a time when “white america” loved him…oh yea that was when he was putting money in their pockets…now the same people who screamed his name last season in cheer, are ready to kill him. It’s funny no one took the day off to go to Virginia Tech to mourn the lost of lives there…but in downtown richmond va everyone took the day off to go and speak out for dogs. Are these the same people who ride down the road and see a stray dog on the side of the road. Do they pick it up? Do they leave it? Well lets see they are putting an animal in harms way also…so shouldn’t they also be tried the same way? It doesn’t matter if you feel you are guilty or not, it is up to someone else.
The mother who runs over the dog backing out of the driveway has just put that dog thru something cruel and unsual…she should be tried also! I once knew a lady that ran over a turtle and saw that it was still twitching, she backed up and ran over it multiple times to “put it out of its misery”. Is she not just as guilty of cruel and unusual punishment. Well I am going to end it here, because i hate this website anyway…and yes I am a white woman who believes yes we are innocent until proven guilty.

I love animals immensely, but to create a shirt that demands for Mike to be neutered is outrageous. Just the thought sends me to a vicious rage! His testicles are not what caused him to commit this act–IF HE EVEN DID IT–so removing them ARE NOT THE ANSWER! Every time a man does something wrong, everyone throws up the “let’s cut off his testicles” solution. Well, just a couple of weeks ago, there were two girls who set a cat on fire and laughed while it burned. Do we cut off parts of their genitals, too? Suppose someone made a shirt that stated that they should be raped or have their clitorises cut off as punishment. How do you think society would have reacted? With outrage, no doubt, and reasonably so. This shirt is sexist against men because it insinuates that a male genitalia is what drives men to do evil acts. There is no substantial proof to support such an asinine belief except theories conjured by those with either a conscious or subconscious male hatred. Since women do and have committed cruel acts against animals and others the mendacious concept that a male’s genitals are responsible for him committing such an act is erroneous because female perpetrators of such crimes do not have male genitalia! This shirt promotes sexual violence and therefore should be removed! The creator of such barbarity, and those who support it, are not only just as sick as Mike supposedly is, but they may also have sexist attitudes towards men whether they be latent or conspicuous. The person(s) responsible for the shirt should be prosecuted and sued for it. I am going to contact the Mike Vick’s support group and persuade his family members to sue for this promotion of hate against him and for encouraging sexual violence. The creator of this shirt went too far and should be punished for it.

Hey Anonymous, first of all use proper grammar. And second, how about letting your uncle defend himself. Dog fighting is illegal, period. Hunting, when done in proper season and when following rules is legal. Yes there are those out there that do not follow the rules and when caught (much like Vick) are dealt with accordingly. Oh and have you ever heard of the group PETA, pretty sure they raise hell on animal cruelty on a daily basis and do their best to make sure that those that deserve punishment get it!

All the hunters that can afford it and is able to rent the property. they are hunting for trophies and you know this. For every dog, that you so love, that is used on the task force to do men jobs, they are made Addicted to COCAINE, CRACK or whatever the drug they want them to be able to find. after their use is over, they are put to sleep, AND YOU Tell me that this is not CRUEL!. Apparently you have not read all of my comments….let me recap for you….hunting when permitted=ok because the deer have a chance to get away (FYI, I’m not a hunter though my in-laws are) though cattle who are raised and killed just for meat=not as ok because there is no chance to get away. By the way, if people can afford it then that is there business, and really it’s not all that expensive UNLESS you get into it for sport and that I do not agree with. I don’t think it’s ok to hunt just to see who can shoot more or who can get the biggest.

The dogs used on the police force are typically adopted to loving homes (I personally know some) or by other police officers, and no they are not “drugged.” check this out www.policek9.com.
Third:
How about the fact that I mentioned PETA. I do not believe in the cruelty of animals by any means. I have 5 dogs: 2 pits, 2 adopted “mutts” and a chihuahua. My family cannot go by Petsmart on Saturdays b/c of pet adoption day, we would end bringing home another animal.
I love horses very much and hope to someday own a few, have never been to a rodeo…………Think about this, how many times have you gone to the zoo??

Guys and Gals, we are only bashing Mike Vick because he is taking the fall for all the Bubbas and Redneck, and backwoods people who would not be a second notice to anyone. These rednecks, backwoods people who dog fight, no one knows them or cares about them. So if they get caught, they get their just punishment and they go on. Not that they shouldn’t be punished for all that they do to these animals. But then you get Mike Vick in the arena, he is very well know, people like him and so forth, and then they find out that he is doing, the same things as all these redneck Bubbas are doing with the dog fighting and such and he is taking the blame and hype for all of them!!! We cannot prosecute ‘Bubba Blackwell’ for dog fighting, who in the hell is ‘Bubba Blackwell and what has he done? But you get Mike Vick out there doing what Bubba Blackwell has done and you have some clout. So Mike Vick and his 3 cronies are taking the flack for all the Bubbas out there!!! Sorry Beth but “Bubba Blackwell” is not the only one doing these things. There is no reason to stereotype or so this type of person or that race is more likely to commit these sorts of crimes. As far as I’m concerned they are all trash and should be dealt with. Vick was caught, that is why he is being made an example of (as he should be). Though in fact the house was originally invaded for drugs and that is when the dog issue came up. How is it he’s taking the “blame and hype for all of them” if he did it (which I believe he did) then he deserves all the blame and hype thrown his way.

No,what I’m saying is, a well known person, doing a bad thing, is going to get more hype in the medial because he is well known. Bubba is going to get his hands slapped in his local area and that is it. No one knows what Bubba did because, who cares about Bubba? Are the Major Networks going to cover Bubba? Even if he did a ‘bad thing and abused animals’? No, there will be a 15 second piece on Bubba and then it will be over. But Mike Vick now, he is in the news. Mike Vick is Mike Vick. Apparently people are reading between the lines…..5 dogs here: 2pits, 2 adopted, and a chihuahua….pretty sure there is no animal cruelty here. Deer are killed for food and other uses of other parts of their bodies. Try that argument with Ted Nugent. Animal cruelty is beyond wrong and disgusting. The fact here is Vick was caught, plain and simple. He should now be made an example of (kind of like Paris Hilton, whom I don’t agree with). He is a celeb/athlete and therefore should should be setting examples for his fans (most importantly children). Ok, I get that cruel is cruel but it’s a t-shirt not a lawsuit! People are wearing these shirts in support of something they have been moved by. I’m sure that not one of them truely wants to neuter Vick! He made mistakes and now will go through the court system and be punnished the way he should. Neuter is a more figurative statement than anything, it’s something that happens to animals not humans and if the shoe was on the other foot would we want to be treated like the animals?? And yes I have a pit that I love like family she sleeps with my children and raised well she is a bigger whimp that my little dog so the point is if you want to breed and raise dogs do it for the right reasons, not to hurt any living thing! Eveyone has their right to vent!!!! The thing is yah Mike Vick got everyones attention because of who he is and anyone in the public who would have gotten caught would have caught the same crap!! He just was the unlucky sole who got busted for it now, yah it is about the animals the inhumanity that happenes and the people who do it. Did you ever stop to think that the thing is you have to use what you are given to get a voice out there, and as for the fact of us communicating with our kind how did you get on here something got your attention, if it bothers you that people are upset with Mike Vick dont read what we have to say, (I hate to see the Falcons lose a damn good ball player to be honest he is good and it sucks that this had to happen to get people thinking about dog fighting) but it did and they are — and if one or two kennels that promote this shut down do to all this publicity, then kudos to the person who thought of making an example of the guy!!!
Communication is the key no matter what kind you think we all are–We shall continue to VENT!!! I hate to see my dog and her breed have a bad reputation when people like my friends and I try to let peeple know what kind and loving dogs they are and things like this feed the concept that they are horrible and violent dogs which is so terribly wrong! The other thing I want to say is I truely hope his family that has participated in this gets in as much if not more trouble than he does for keeping it going.
He is not the first celebrity to be the poster child for things too bad for him it was such a big one this time when you become a celebrity you know people are watching and expecting the best and when they find the worst they are going to make it know!

Do you know me??? My children barely watch television and honestly do not know who Mike Vick is!!! I teach them what is wright and wrong not the television or celebrities! There is a lot of anger here, and its a sign of being incomplete. I hope the peole who are so angry at Vick, get over their anger, and learn to forgive (If he did do it). I’m not saying don’t protest and promote change, I am saying don’t become part of the problem. My experience with people involved in PETA is that they portray themselves as being Psychotic, Crazy, Extreme, and Scary. Its too much!

All this hoopla over Vick is going nowhere UNLESS every animals stands up in their own community and DEMANDS that it be stamped out NOW!!!!
Dogfighting is tied into big money: narcotics, gambling, violence. Every serial killer started out by torturing animals. These people belong in the penitiary with other criminals.
ACT NOW to strength dogfighting laws. Make it a felony for placing a bet and even being an observer. Donate to your local humane society to fund a reward for people reporting dogfighters and dogfights.
This will only be stopped when the ordinary person takes action. Putting Vick and his colleagues in jail only stops four.

First, I would like to say thank you for the great T-shirts! I bought several from your site and I have ordered T-shirts & buttons from several other sites to help Pit Bull Rescues, ASPCA & local organizations. I have also sent messages to the NFL, Atlanta Falcons and Nike Foundation. I agree that everyone should be innocent until proven guilty, but the evidence is quite strong against this pathethic example of a “man”. Mike Vick’s associate has even turned against him and gave details of the fighting and killing to save his own sorry and equally disgusting ass! Mike Vick cannot even be considered a human being for the cruelty he has inflicted on innocent animals. He raised and trained Pit Bulls to hate and kill, and did not stop there, but turned them against each other….after all the horror of the fight, if one of the “fighters” remained alive, he executed the “loser” by hanging, drowning, shooting or electrocuting. What a savage! Who is an animal??? If convicted by his peers, he should be punished in the same manner that he inflicted on the animals under his supposed “care”. Eye for an eye! By the way Anonymous, not all Americans are killers and/or hunters. I, personally, am not a hunter nor a killer and have no stuffed animal heads hanging over my mantle; however hunting is legal, dog fighting is illegal. If I hear of a hunter committing an illegal act, I protest that act as well. Another piece of advice for Anonymous…take a grammar lesson or two. It is a terrible shame you do not have the time to type a message in proper English, but Ebonics is not a recognized language and it makes you sound ignorant. It is no surprise that the new Mike Vick slogan, “Ignorance breeds Ignorance” is so popular. Judging from your communication skills, you would be a prime candidate as poster child for this slogan…your uncle is probably embarrassed. You mentioned you are a ghetto female…my only hope is that you do not own animals or have children of your own. I have had dogs for all 38 years of my life including Pit Bulls. Our pitties slept with me as a teenager. Yeah, they were really tough, brutual, killing machines…as they curled around me to give me kisses every night. IS THIS SITE WRONG? HELL NO! I bought T-shirts, buttons, and have emailed everyone. I love the bumper sticker idea, just love it!! can it be done. It’s sad that we have to attack one another, or lynch Vick. I think people need not group and associate everyone. My family has adopted 2 of our 5 dogs. Petsmart on Saturdays is off limits to us from now on because we just can’t manage another dog in our house, we would be waaaay too tempted to bring home another pup. Not to mention all of our dogs are spayed/neutered. Animals don’t have a voice and therefore need us as humans/pet lovers/owners to speak up. Terre I agree, he needs to be punished and hopefully this will put a dent in or make a difference in the world of animal cruelty.

Montana, I support companies that give proceeds to shelters, animal awareness, rescue missions, etc. How is that being a hypocrite? Your next statement in the past email does not even make sense. How were any of my emails barbaric? I mentioned that my ancestors may have committed barbaric acts hundreds of years ago. I find this abhorrent, but unfortunately I cannot do anything about something done hundreds of years before my birth. BUT, I can do something about this cause NOW! Regarding animal rights, you are sending messages to the wrong person. Not only have I adopted four animals given up to shelters and sentenced to death, but I volunteer with my local SPCA and Humane Shelter. I also give monthly donations to Greenpeace, and have a full time job. You assume that I have money because I am white? I give as much of my home, time & money that I can afford to help all animals…and I am not wealthy. If I had more money, time and room in the house, I would have plenty more neglected and/or abused animals. I wake up at 4:45am everyday to take care of my “zoo” and I love it…seeing their happy faces every morning is worth it to me to get up early. I have an adopted cat with FIV and heart disease that frequently loses control of his bowels (Anonymous, that means he poops out of the litter box because he cannot control himself). He is a feral cat that was abused by people like SICK VICK. I took in another cat that was no longer wanted because the family did not have time for her anymore!! WTF???? I adopted a collie from the Maryland Collie rescue that had a broken femur (Anonymous, that is a thigh bone, which is in your leg). She was beaten with a club because she peed on the floor. Abused by people like SICK VICK. I adopted an abused Sheltie from an SPCA in Pennsylvania that had a horrible skin disease and was bald on the back half of her body. She was abused and neglected by people like SICK VICK. All members of our animal “family” are spayed and/or neutered. My dogs do not run loose because of our fenced yard and only go out to urinate and defecate (Anonymous, that means to pee and poop). We also take them out with us on nice days when we are outside as well. The cats do not go outside because they lack survival skills and also because I do not want someone like SICK VICK picking them up as bait. As mentioned before, one of my adopted cats has loose bowels, so when there is a frequent “accident” on my carpet, I get out the paper towels, Resolve, brush and clean the spot. In fact, I cleaned up an accident last night before I sent my email. Accidents happen…no big deal. If a “rug rat” pulled on the tail of my of my pets, I would hope that they would be bitten. That would teach them early not to abuse animals!! No animals of mine would ever go off to the shelter for the BIG SLEEP unless they were suffering from a painful illness…which I would want for myself as well. You should not judge people and make comments until you know what they do for animal rights. WHAT DO YOU DO TO HELP???

I hope Michael Vick does prison time and a lot of it. Maybe if it is brought to other judges attention that this is not OK in our culture they may also start handing down prison time for animal cruelty.

This person is not human. If he hasn’t killed a person yet he probably will. I am sure he will also pull the race card which gets people off scott free these days. I’ve already read other material of black folks defending him and crying racism. It is really sick to know that he would be defended by people BECAUSE of his race even if guilty. How can someone be stupid enough to post a comparison between hunting and dog fighting????????? There is a HUGE difference between shooting an animal (legally), most times killing in one shot, and watching two dogs slowly torture each other and then be tortured by humans afterwards. I am not a fan of hunting either but to put the two different things together is completely IGNORANT. Anyone who could watch this disgusting practice IS NOT HUMAN. THEY ARE THE SAME AS RAPISTS AND MURDERERS. The penalties for killing the dogs are so small compared to killing people that NO ONE SHOULD BE COMPARING THAT EITHER! Dogs Rule, thank you for explaining the difference between hunting an animal legally and dog fighting. I also am not a fan of hunting, but as you have stated, there is a huge difference! Hunters should be outraged to be compared to scum sucking vermon like SICK MIKE VICK! He abuses, tortures and kills…but is too much of a coward to admit HIS GUILT! Real tough guy! Much thanks to his “friends” that gave him up. He should realize by now that the dogs he abused, tortured and killed would have been much more loyal than his so called friends. ROT IN HELL VICK!

These last several posts are great! siknik…yours was rather entertaining. It’s a little hard to take at some points and what gets me even more is that the “purses” were typically not that much. For someone to be making millions like Vick (and hopefully soon will no longer be doing so) it just proves that he wasn’t in it for the money, that’s beyond disgusting. I am from a large city (Philadelphia, the latest murder capital of the world, sad to say) and know the difference between hunting and dog fighting. In this city I have seen news reports of dog fights in the most disgusting parts of the city. But I won’t get off on that tangent of the “ruined city” right now. Vick Dick is a non-man and everyone that is a true human being with feelings, no matter what the color, should think he is scum. Any supporter is either evil, a supporter of animal suffering, or a racist that promotes using the race card.

I have a pit and she wont even growl when she is playing — the kindest dog who sleeps with my 6yr old. The thought of someone tying her up torturing her and killing her because she wasnt mean enough makes me sick and thats what would have happened to her. When dogs like that are taught to fight and kill one another they are turned into horrible animals and that is a sad crime and anyone caught should be punished for it! Mike VIck his friends and family that was there and any other back road fool that does the same thing making money off horrible crimes — and they make tons.

Actually I have 2 dogs and they are the greatest!! I also have 5 cats thank the Good Lord they have plenty of room to play and run! My son went through a rough time and we got him our pit, she has helped him so much with the training and responsibility of taking care of her. No one can convince me that fighting these dogs is right. It may have been going on for years and yah in all reality we will probably never stop it all together but without giving it a fair fight and letting our feelings know about this issue nothing will happen! And I really dont care what any of you feel about race that truely is not the issue at hand name calling and insults do nothing for the cause at hand. If you are only here to fight about the color of your skin I’m sure there is a blog for that! I come here to see if there is new information on Mike Vick and the case. Something that saddens me is the fact that all those animals had to die for no true reason!!! Dog fighting promotes violence and hate look what it has brought on here. My children and family rank above my dogs but past that there they are and I fight for their rights and lives they are just like a part of the family my chilren have been taught that they are to be treat as kind as you do people and I wish there were more people who taught theri children the same and hopefully this will at least bring on animal awareness! Take care of your animals and fight for thier rights!

Yah my girl is wonderful my best-friend has raised pits for years and that is the only place I have gotten mine I had one before Allie and someone stole him because he was so good we were in the middle of moving across town and when we came back to get him someone had broken in and took him o it crushed us Allie is his sister and just as wonderful. Things like this fighting give our dogs a bad rep and make it so I cant take her to some RV parks and such just because of her breed and that makes me very irritated! It’s not just what this does to those animals dirrectly affected but a breed in whole and that makes the crime even more aggrivating!

Lets look at the bigger picture. First, his race is insignificant. Secondly, no one with intelligence would say that dogs are more important then children but it doesn’t mean this is not worth discussing or worth feeling angry over. My concern is the cruel way he treated the dogs. What person gets pleasure out of watching a living being die from suffication? What person finds joy in watching a living being die from electrocution? What person can hold a living being under water until it takes its last breath? What is this man’s mental state? His cruelty is directed towards animals but what happens when he no longer finds enjoyment in torturing animals? Does he turn this cruelty towards human beings. This has been documented and the findings are disturbing. This is intentional cruel acts towards living beings not someone accidentally backing over a dog in the driveway. This is just one more example of the insensitive nature of people.

The color of his skin did not make his choices he did and if he had been a white boy from anywhere I’d still think it was horrible what happened and like Kayla said this makes the risk of never owning another pit possible someday and I cant imagine life without mine! She is a treasure to us when I look at her curled up with my son right now it sickens me to think that people like Mike Vick hurt such loving and beautiful creatures! The facts are this: A sick famous person is a sociopath that has no morals and is greedy. He has been caught. Some people are saying “innocent until proven guilty”. The fact is, the justice system does NOT work. Sick Vick can use his fame and his race to get out on technicalities. That is why so many others are NOT waiting for a verdict to make their decisions about him. Like OJ, all Vick’s lawyers need to do is find that some white prosectutor said the “n” word 50 years ago and Vick can get the trial dismissed. It won’t matter if he is totally guilty and killed defenseless animals. Just like it didn’t matter what OJ did to two people and their families. That is why this system DOESN’T work and that people don’t wait for a verdict. The system is terrible. Freedom of speech is wiped out for some, but not all people. The “n” word gets people fired but words like “dago”, “kike”, “mick”, “spick”, “cracker”, etc are still used with no consequences. These are the facts, folks.

Montana, I have not put any BS on this blog as you indicated. All of the things that I have stated are true and honest. I will continue to strive for the welfare of animals until I am unable. You do not know me and have no clue what I do for a living, but I assure you that my job requires me to make intelligent decisions everyday. Truth be told, yes, I do care more about animals then most people. My husband and I have close-knit connections with lots of friends and extremely large families…and that’s all I/we need. One certainty, we all have the same opinion on this issue. Animals are kind, loyal and give unconditional love. Some humans (as made clear in these blogs), are evil and uncaring. I ride the subway to work 5 days a week and encounter the worst humans possible. I am fed up with the fat, lazy, rude scumbags that I have to deal with daily. This includes ALL RACES! BTW, I have more class in my pinky then you will ever have in your life. All my blogs have been regarding my experiences and facts…and I have not insulted any race. THE POINT IS, MIKE VICK IS A CRIMINAL! AND SHOULD BE PUNISHED! Also, I work with a sweet man that owes a pit bull…I gave him a ‘SAVE A PIT BULL, NEUTER VICK” button this morning and he proudly pinned it to his shirt.
